about us

lica design. one of a kind.

In a world full of patterns, we are happy to follow our own. To turn a large variety of unique and artistic patterns into wearable garments as well as into home textiles. Welcome to lica design.

We love prints. Inspired by different people and cultures as well as artwork all over the globe, we create prints and embellishments for people with a distinct taste for the outstanding.

All our print designs are influenced by paintings, sculptures, photography and graphics discovered every day by our international team. Working with artists and designers makes every single piece of our collection truly individual and bears the signature of lica design.

All our ideas are shaped at our beautiful and inspiring headquarter, located in a Wilhelminian style house built 1904 in Germany. The perfect place to create favorites. With a fine feeling for unique and extraordinary designs, the lica design team creates beautiful artwork beyond mainstream every day that you will often find on catwalks as well in stores all over the world.

We believe that every single person is one of a kind and therefore deserves

unique textiles that are sophisticated and wearable. Whether luxury labels or high street fashion – our prints meet every expectation.

Every single day, we strive for high quality to keep our customers satisfied. And to offer artistic and handmade prints for people around the world.

After she graduated from College in France with a degree in fine arts, Elisa became masterstudent of the french artist Gérard Collin-Thiébaut and worked as his assistent in Paris. A few years later she returned to Germany.
She moved to Flingern, the hip bohemian side of Duesseldorf and founded the off-scene art gallery "Revolver" with friends of hers.
In the following years she managed the gallery, collected art, organized her own exhibitions and worked as a freelance textile print designer for several international fashion companies. Meanwhile she was always having her own goal in mind:  to open a print and design studio. In 2011 Elisa launched "LICA designs". Meanwhile the business has developed very well and she is proud of having very successfully acquired international customers.  Up till now she never stopped  making her own art and organizing her own exibitions in Europe.
